5 Things to Love About November

In this series, I share 5 things to love about X month with the hope of inspiring us to enjoy this season of life & all of the wonderful things to soak up.

October went out with a quick bang as November entered the chat. Halloween is behind us & the holidays are inching close.

In case you did not catch my 5 Things to Love About October blog post, I write these monthly posts to inspire readers & pinners to soak up the joys of what is good right now. We are always rushing toward the next thing.

Right now, it's Christmas. Soon, swimsuits will fill the stores as visions of sandy beaches swirl through our social media feeds. Sadly, the reality is that it's 25 degrees outside of our screens. Always wanting what is to come is a part of life, but as I inch toward ending this series {January 2025 will be the concluding post} I hope to inspire others to soak up what is good right now.

Without further delay, here are my thoughts on what to look forward to in November.

5 Things to Love About November

  1. Change in Decor: Finally Halloween has ended, it is nice to enter a clean slate of home decor. Personally, I enjoy a neutral home with pops of seasonal colors, so, I am always glad to refresh my space with clean, light-color linens, no pumpkins, & decluttering for upcoming holiday festive touches.
  2. Decluttering: I talk a lot about decluttering on my blog. Clutter is ENEMY NO.1 on my list. I am always trying to simply my space, items, & daily items to make room for just space. The older I get, the more I appreciate space--the art of decluttering is something that is in season every season, but with the holidays coming, decluttering is a good thing to do right now!
  3. Outdoor Walks: November weather can be tricky. Some days it can be a beautiful crisp day. On other days, it can be damp & chilly. However, this time of year {in the Northeast} is one of the best times to enjoy crisp walks without the heat or heavy springtime winds. Get outdoors & move your body.
  4. Holiday Gift Wrap: If you are a crafty person & nerd out on beautifully wrapped gifts, now is the time of year to plan out your 2024 Holiday Wrapping Paper Theme. The stores are just starting to release their seasonal wrapping paper--so stock up. I will link to my previous wrapping idea blogs below.
  5. Holiday Drinks: As we speak, Dunkin' & Starbucks are releasing their holiday cups, merch, & holiday coffee drinks. It is fun to sip something in-season& enjoy the cute holiday marketing.
There you have it, 5 little things to enjoy this month. I hope these ideas inspire you to sip something seasonal, while you wrap all of your Christmas treasures. See you in December for more. XX
