As the weather warms, my craving for silky, tropical, as well as colorful fruits blossoms like the Day Lillies blooming in our side yard. Truthfully, pineapple is one of my favorite fruits year round as I make it a point to eat it year round!

I found mixing frozen pineapple with pure orange juice {no sugar added} as well as a simple vanilla vegan protein powder inside a blender to be a refreshing summer smoothie.
I like to make this healthy Orange Julius for a light summer dinner paired with a toasted English Muffin & maybe some turkey bacon.

You'll Need:
- No Sugar Added Orange Juice
- Vanilla Protein Powder {little to no added sugar} I used Vega Protein Vanilla Protein Made Powder
- Ice
- Blender
- 1/2 Frozen Banana
Method:
- Add 4-5 ice cubes to the blender
- Add your 1/2 frozen banana
- Add 1 to 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
- Fill glass to 'fill line' with OJ
- Blend until smooth
- Enjoy with a glass straw
