Easter Bunny Paper Plates DIY

Mr. {or Mrs} Easter Bunny hops this way, Sunday, April 17th. Are you someone who decorates for spring as well as Easter?

If you're looking for a quick & easy Easter DIY that you can make with supplies found around your home, then this is the springtime craft for you!

Everyone has craft paint as well as paper plates on-hand. It's completely up to you whether you want to make your bunny face on a big paper plate {dinner size} or a small one {salad/dessert size}. Personally, the smaller plates are easier to decorate with, but it's up to you!

This paper plate bunny craft is great to make with kids because it's so easy

Supplies to Make the Bunny Paper Plate:

  • Paper Plates
  • Craft Paint
  • Glue
  • Stock Paper

Paper bunny plate craft is a whimsical Easter craft

Whimsical Easter Crafts

Method:

Hot glue two white paper plates together, this will make your bunny face sturdy. Next, paint! You can go as basic or creative as you want painting your bunny face on your plate.

I keep my faces all {relatively} similar to each other.  After your face is painted, set it aside to dry & work on the bunny ears. For the paper plate bunny ears, I hand cut two long loops & then painted a streak of pink down the ears' center. After all, parts were dry, I hot glued the ears to the back of the paper plate.

I got a little extra crafty & added some butterfly bows to my bunny ears, but you can embellish with whatever.

& Pro tip, if you don't have any of these supplies on hand, The Dollar Tree has an AMAZING craft isle that is all $1.00. This is where I got the blue butterfly stickers.

& That's it! It's really a simple Easter craft. If you love this post, follow me on Instagram @Katelynchef  for more creativity & tips to living a creative lifestyle.
