Spring's Little White Dress: Wear It 30x Edition
When it comes to curating style posts for the blog, I have been feeling a little lost for inspiration. Seemingly, I am over the odd-ball fashion pairing, you know like mixing granny-style clothes with the 90s' punk rock looks or whatever other odds & ends fashion Tik Tokkers can muster up.
While I know it's trendy to look disheveled or have an 'I don't care about how I look' type of look, I just feel meh about it.

On the other hand, I have long checked out from bloggers' compulsive Amazon Reels & whatever other online boutiques they get affiliate link merch from. So, where did that leave me & creating style content?
Getting inspiration from a Vogue article where they were talking about ways to dress more sustainably, the article mentioned not buying something unless you can picture yourself wearing the item at least 30 times. I found that to be interesting & wanted to challenge myself by creating a set of four style blog posts, each taking place in the four seasons {spring, summer, fall, &winter} of 2022 to style one garment four ways for four seasons.
In an effort to be more conscious of what I buy, challenging myself to style this thrifted dress throughout the year |
The garment you ask? I found this white Gal Meets Glam dress {with tags} on ThredUp at a major discount. The dress is unique with its white 3-D floral details as well as the tied sleeves at the top. It was my size so for this experimental blog-style purpose, I bought it & we're rolling with it.
Without further adieu, this is the first of four blog posts featuring this white {thrifted} Gal Meets Glam dress. This post focuses on styling a little white dress for spring. Many are looking for a simple dress for class graduations, brunches, showers, & spring parties. Styling with a pastel cardi is a good idea as the spring weather can be up & down.

Also, adding fun accessories, like a personalized clutch or cute loafers punches the simple dress up a few notches.
