A Halloween to Remember: The Good Witch & Her Little Bats π✨πΎ
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year—it’s the season for cozy magic, sweet treats, and of course, dressing up with a little creativity. This year, I decided to celebrate with my two pups, Finley and Remy, by coordinating our Halloween costumes. I was the good witch, while they transformed into the cutest little bats you’ve ever seen.

My Good Witch Costume

I wanted to keep things whimsical and wearable, so instead of a full witchy gown, I styled together pieces I already loved:
A gold witch’s hat with just the right touch of sparkle.
A green polo rugby dress layered under an old sweater that read “Good Witch”.
Sheer sparkly tights and shimmery shoes to add a magical finishing touch.
The look felt effortless but still captured that witchy-but-sweet vibe—perfect for matching with Finley and Remy.

Finley & Remley: The Little Bats
For their costumes, Finley and Remley wore bat wings that were lightweight, soft, and comfortable. I love how simple wings are as a costume piece—they add just the right amount of festive flair without overwhelming the dogs. Watching them trot around with little wings fluttering was pure magic.

Why Dress Up Pets for Halloween?
For me, including Finley and Remy in the holiday makes Halloween feel even more special. It’s not just about costumes—it’s about creating little traditions together. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood, a cozy fall photo shoot, or just hanging out at home, matching costumes always bring a little extra joy.

Tips for Pet-Friendly Halloween Costumes

If you’re thinking about dressing up your pets this Halloween, here are some quick tips:
Comfort First: Choose costumes that are lightweight and easy for your dog to move in.
Keep It Simple: Accessories like wings, capes, or themed bandanas are often the best option.
Introduce Slowly: Let your pet try their costume on for short bursts before the big day.
Safety Above All: Avoid costumes with loose strings, beads, or small parts.
Don’t Forget the Photos: These moments are memories you’ll love looking back on.

A Magical October Memory

Halloween is about more than just candy—it’s about making memories that feel a little enchanted. Dressing as the good witch while my pups played the part of little bats made this October one to remember. With a cozy sweater, a sparkly hat, and my pups by my side, it was truly a magical night.
