Presque Isle, Erie Pa, is Pennsylvania's coast or seashore with Presque Isle a row of 12 beaches inside Presque Isle State Park offering a variety of water and land activities from biking to paddleboarding.

You have heard of island hopping, but beach hopping is a thing too. Lake Erie, the world's seventh largest lake, surface of 9,910 miles, is home to a row of beaches in Presque Isle State Park. 

One summer day, we beach hopped through the park & the beaches. All of the beaches in Presque Isle are dry beaches-no spiked beverages. However, I believe they are dog friendly.

The activities on the island go from biking, walking/running, kyaking, sailing, swimming, & more. It's a low key jaunt to enjoy the beach, lake water, & nature. 

I was so surprised by how clean & beautiful the Lake Erie water {& beaches were}. My favorite beach of the day was Beach 8. I think lifeguards on beaches & large lake are so picturesque as I got some cool shots of a few Lake Erie lifeguards on patrol.

I recall Beach 8 to have showers as well as changing rooms. Driving into Presque Isle State Park, you'll pass Waltamere Water Park & a outdoor park diner {that looked right out of Pinocchio}. 

If you're looking for a chill way to spend time on the sand, water, & out enjoying mother nature, Presque Isle was a great spot to hang. Side note, most resturants in Erie on Mondays are closed, something I learnt on my day there.

Aside from beaches & watersports, you can enjoy {& tour the Presque Isle Lighthouse}. There really isn't any shopping on Presque Isle, it's more nature focused.
