Five Ways to Make Your Fourth of July Festive
It is that time of year once again--The time for outdoor BBQs {or grilled veggies if you're a vegetarian such as myself}, checkered table cloths, gathering by the pool, & plenty of sparklers to light up the summertime sky.
In American terms, It's The Fourth of July! Whether you are spending America's birthday relaxed near a lake, chilled poolside, or at home cozy on your front porch there are SO many ways to make your Fourth of July festive!

Here are my Top Five Way to Make Your Fourth Festive:
- Flowers: Whether you opt for seasonally appropriate arrangement of hydrangeas on your picnic table{s} or festive roses such as these ever-lasting sky blue roses from Rose Box NYC; flowers always bring happiness {& festiveness} to any gathering.
- Name Cards: Having name cards readily written out with your guests' names {or initials} for your Fourth gathering adds a personal element to your party--you can either have the cards in-place at the tables or set on a dessert/favor table for them to grab on their way to their seats.

- Balloons: Today, the non-helium/self-inflatable ballons are SO popular & readily available at many retailers as well as Etsy shops. Target has a big selection of party/self-inflatable balloons. This USA balloon was under $5.00 at Pier1 Imports & adds a super fun-festive party flare.
- Colorful Culterly: Colorful plates & utensils {resuable/recycle-able plastic is cool} is super fun for parties. If you want to wash & re-use your fun silverware, have a large bin labeled 'dirty silverware' on hand for your festive folks to toss inside after eating.
- Festive Table Linens: You don't have to spend a fortune on table linens. You can opt for the one-time use plastic table clothes {Dollar Store has a ton} &/or you can hit up your local Good Will/thrift store for table linens, unique sheets, & other thrift-d items that make for multi-use party linens. Just be sure to wash beforehand. I have an XL pool towel as a table cloth in these photos.
I also have to add, table scatters {see the seashells here} add a fun element to any party & part setting.
I hope everyone has a safe & happy Fourth of July--Thanks for reading! xx
