February, what's to love? While the short month of February is a month dedicated to {consumer} love, there are a good bit of things to appreciate this month.
Of course, pink and red are colors associated with this month, but Amethyst, a lavender hue, is the birthstone.
February: Five Things to Love this Month
- Fuzzy Sock Season: Make no mistake, we are still very much in the season of winter. I too am dreaming of breezy spring afternoons, but settle into your fuzzy socks as now is the time to appreciate them!
- Valentine's Day: I am not 100 percent into Valentine's Day, but it can be fun to gift cute cards as well as spoil your pet. Valentine's Day is Wednesday, Feb 14th!
- Short Month: I love that one of the winter months is short. We are getting close to spring.
- Appreciate the Season of Nature: While I am cheering for spring, I am appreciative of the seasons. While snow is my least favorite word, taking advantage of the change in climate with different photography ideas can be fun.
- Fun Seasonal Home Decor: It's always fun to sprinkle a bit of the seasonal festivities inside one's home. Target usually has cute as well as affordable holiday items to make it feel like Valentine's Day indoors.
