177th Canfield Fair Photo Album
Maybe it's the wafting scent of warm {gianatic} elephant ears searing in oil and sprinkled with powder sugar that piques your fair fancy. Or possibly, it's the colorful fairground horizon scattered with blinking ride lights, ticket booths, & billowing flags tempting you to dig deep down into your pocket to purchase ride {or carnival game} fare.
Or possibly, a fair visit is something that makes for great people {as well as animals} watching causing you to fill up our memory card with timeless captures.
Here, in Northeast Ohio, the Canfield Fair marks the end of another summer as the fair rolls in the last remaining days of August through Labor Day. All in total, the Canfield Fair lasts six days.
While I don't go every year, I went last year, the 176th year of the fair & brought my Sony a6000 camera with the Sony 40mm prime lens.
It is my goal to submit one to two photos to the Canfield Fair's art/photography exhibit. So, stay tuned to see if that happened & how it went...
I think any festival setting makes for great subjects when it comes to street photography. However, I mostly enjoyed photographing the horses {more the ponies} as well as the food vendors & their colorful food trucks.
I want to compose a post sharing these Canfield Fair photos to inspire your next photography adventure & spark your creativity.
