Northeast Ohio Farmer's Market Round-Up

About this time of year, the sweet corn is ready for the picking, peaches are plump, tomatoes are juicy, sunflowers are golden, & pumpkins {as well as cornstalks & gourds} are coming up the rear.

The tail end of July, right up til Halloween, North East Ohio Farmer's Markets are bursting with produce, pumpkins, bakes, seasonal candy, & photo opportunities.

Northeast Ohio Farmer's Market Round-Up

Molnar Farms: 3115 E. Western Reserve Rad, Poland, Ohio: During the summer months, they have plenty of sweet summer corn & sunflower fields to frolic in. For folks looking for fall harvest activities, Molnar Farms creates themed seasonal sculptures out of huge hay barrels as well as has hayrides, pumpkins, & corn mazes.
Countryside Barn Venue 4684 Center Road, Lowellville, Ohio: The rear of this venue is a wedding & events venue. However, in the front, is a farmer's market which opens at the end of July. They have great sweet corn & beautiful peaches. There are artisan sunflowers cut, for sale too. They have plenty of pumpkin-related activities for children come September.
White House Fruit Farm 9249Youngstown-Salem Road, Canfield Ohio: White House Fruit Farm, open year-round, is ALWAYS busy. They are especially busy come fall as they have a seasonal gift barn. Depending on the fruits in season, you can shop them inside. Their big draw is their homemade donuts, White House Fruit Farm is known for its cake blueberry iced donuts.
Huffman Fruit farm 13080 Lisbon Rd, Salem, Ohio: Huffman Fruit Farm is where I go apple picking. They have a farmer's market inside with dried corn, cider, vegetables, & fruits to shop for as well. They have ALL kinds of varieties of apples to pick with a small little animal farm off to the market's side. There was an adorable baby cow in 2022.
Haus Cider Mill 6742 W Calla Road, Canfield, Ohio: Haus Cider Mill is where I used to go as a baby/little girl. Today, they have scaled way back, but maybe that's nice as some of these seasonal farmer's markets get overrun with crowds & screaming children. Go here if you want good homemade donuts, apples, & cider. PS, Haus Cider Mill's honey sticks are worth stocking up on too.
