I feel like Galentine's Day is a holiday that would be right up Midge Maisel aka The Marvelous Mrs. Maisle, as everything from the holiday's colors, accessories, decor, & food would be Midge perfection.

I am SO glad I started {& am up-to-date} watched The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel & it's rare anymore that you find a show that's genuinely funny, as well as has an outstandingly talented cast. Plus, the show's costumes & sets are amazing.  In fact, it reminds me of {all time favorite}, Ugly Betty, in that plucky, aesthetically pleasing, & down-right sweet manner kind-of-way.

With Valentine's Day & Galentine's Day so near, I thought, it would be a sweet idea to share Marvelous Galentine's Day Ideas from gifts, food, decor, & more.

Galentine's Day Gifts

-Pixi by Petra Matte Last Liquid Lipstick: I love the bold-long lasting color of this particular liquid lipstick as well as the easy application.

-Aleah Pearl Cuff Earrings, Bauble Bar: Since I don't have pierced ears, the rise of the ear cuffs have me so swooning for this new accessory trend.

-All that Glitters, Sheertex Pantyhose: Have you tired Sheertex pantyhose yet? They're pretty amazing as they are marketed to be 10 x stronger than the average pantyhose. Plus, their designs are unique to any that I have seen. I was really impressed with the quality of these sparkly black glitter sheers they kindly gifted me--Midge Maisel approved.

- Hair Clips: Beaded hairclips are everywhere now, adding a little clip to a Galentine card is the perfect feminine touch!

Galentine's Day Food & Drink 

- Popcorn: Freshly popped popcorn with mixed in M & Ms is perfect for a chick-flick movie night.

-Heart-shaped pancakes: Heart eyes for these Paleo pancakes which were made with an Opalhouse by Target pancake mold! 

- Pink Wine Either rosé, pink white zinfandel, or prosecco are fun wines for Galentine's Day.

-Meringues: To me, meringues are the new macaroons, pass it on.

-DIY Paper Lipstick Valentines: I made these paper towel {I used an empty kitchen foil tube} lipstick Valentines as I got the idea & template from the blog, The House that Lars Built. I put sweet tart hearts inside which transformed them from decor into clever Galentines!.

-Valentines: Repurposing Valentines as decor makes for a cost-effective & chic party accent

-Foil Balloons: I am all for foil balloons, they are simple to inflate as well as elevate a party look in seconds!
