Linen' for Summer: Where to Shop for Linen Summer Dresses

Linen' for Summer: Where to Shop for Linen Summer Dresses

I am calling it--summer's favorite fabric, Linen!

Linen isn't anything new, but linen dresses, shorts, & tops have been popping up in stores & all over blogs/Instagram as of late.

I feel that linen is the perfect summer fabric as it is light, great for travel & has a casual beachy-Boheme vibe while still effortlessly chic for any occasion.

Whether you are heading to the beach this summer or to a poolside picnic, I have rounded up my favorite places to shop some linen pieces for you to wear.

Rosemary Beach, Florida

Favorite Places to Shop for Linen Summer Closet Staples:

  • Beach Lunch Lounge: I recently discovered this brand via TJ Maxx & I love their easy, breezy, & casual dresses. I feel that any Beach Lunch Lounge dress would look great with a pair of woven platform espadrille-sneaker shoe and or a cute pair of Jack Rodgers.
  • Free People: It is safe to say, Free People has all of the right surfer-free spirit-beach vibes going on--where you're in a crop top & shorts linen set or a flowy Boheme dress--plenty of linen items here.
  • Sierra: If I am not mistaken, Sierra.com is apart of the TJ Maxx Companies, Inc. So, you can imagine all of the great brands that you'd find in the Home Goods & TJ Maxx stores here in one curated online shopping site. So many of the designer/ name-brand linen dress that I have seen in stores are here on this site for discounted price {like the in-store shopping prices}  such as Beach Lunch Lounge, Drew, Artisan NY, C & C California, & so on.

  • Kiel James Patrick: While KJP's summer shift dresses are not technically linen {they're cotton} the lose yet fitted in all the right places cut of their new summer shift dresses {have you have seen the gingham dresses?} these dresses still the same summertime style vibe of a linen piece.
  • Walmart: Guys, Walmart fashion is having a movement--it still has a while to go, but I saw their Time & Tru rendition of a linen shift for under $15.00 & I did not hate it!
  • Anthropologie: I love Anthropologie {especially (actually only, haha) when I can get it on sale}! Anthro's linen shirt dresses would be perfect for a day on the boat & dinner near the dock.
  • Old Navy: Old Navy is on the linen bandwagon this year--luckily, this retailer is a little more affordable for those who want to try the trend before investing too much into it.
  • Tj Maxx & Marshalls: to be 100% honest, these two stores are where I frequent & find the most affordable linen items. They get new linen dresses, tops, & pants in what seems like daily. The best part is that as soon as they get them in they reduce the price soon after. If you're a savvy shopper, you can actually find {almost} all of the brands/retailers above for a fraction of the price.

Exploring Rosemary Beach, Fl.

Hopefully, you've found this where to shop for linen summer pieces {especially linen dresses} helpful. If you're curious about my location in this post, I was in Rosemary Beach, Florida which is in South Walton Florida

While I am planning on elaborating more in a later post, let me tell you, the 30a portion of South Walton, Florida is just glorious! Rosemary Beach was one of the beaches/neighborhoods. It is where I spent the most time exploring.
