Must Love Clogs: Warm Weather Clog Roundup

Must Love Clogs: Warm Weather Clog Roundup

Clogs. They often get a bad reputation whether the fashion-focused folks are just too above to give clogs a second glance or the European-esque shoes get tossed into the funky meets frumpy section of the fashion pyramid.

Let me tell you something--clogs are back! But if you ever met me in IRL, you'd know they never really went anywhere--you're just catching up šŸ˜˜

Ciao!

When it comes to footwear {shoes} I have always been a bit of a free-spirit. I loved Crocs since it was uncool to do so--years later. My first {real} pair of Crocs were a purple pair & I still have them!

Fast forward to current fashion-times & fashion houses such as Balenciaga created $400-500.00 Crocs. Today, Gen-Z trendsetters are bringing Crocs back to the streets rocking the basic white & black lightweight clogs. Don't believe me? Check-out the Urban Outfitters' site.

I have a pair of flower painted Birkenstocks that I break out every spring & I love the BOHO-free-spirit energy they have--I just think clogs {in-general} have so much personality & they are functional.

Today, clogs are glam too--brands such as Free People & Lotta from Stockholm have dressy clogs that are perfect for date night as well as flower market errands. It's not hard to see why clogs are having a moment & I am so on board.

If you question the clogs' comfort, I find the Crocbands, Platform Crocs, & my rose gold Lotta clogs to be extremely comfortable--clogs in general, have a reputation of being comfortable.

How-to Style Clogs:

This spring & summer, I am styling my clogs with casual-everyday jumpers, linen dresses, bucket hats, crochet shorts, & lots of ankle bracelets as well as scrunchies {why not?!}  When I slip into a pair of clogs {& platform Crocs} it's all about an easy-breezy-care-free-attitude.

So, your outfit should be so too--loose, fun, & effortless.
