Bohemian Romance: Personal Bathroom ReVamp

A soft gray & safari white color palette mixed alongside touches of rattan & woven baskets went into my vision of re-doing my bathroom. My inspiration for redoing this space was with the vision of 'romantic bohemian' style alongside my dream to own a little cottage {beach house} near some type of body of water. I wrote a post about it, here.

Earlier, my dad was nice enough to repaint my bathroom {including built-in wall shelves} from a bland sage green & white color combo to an uplifting chic gray & white palette!

After he painted, I simplified everything! I wanted my space to be soft, feminine, tranquil with a touch of coastal meets boho chic charm.

As you can tell, the before & after really tells a tale of my personal style {& home stye} taste transformation. This bathroom revamp-design really put a spring in my step.

My favorite additions to my newly painted space are:

This bamboo bath mat. I think the juxtaposition of the bamboo underneath my lacquer shelf is unique & blends my romantic bohemian home decor style nicely!

This gold shower caddy. I think this gold shower caddy is so chic & adds just the right amount of 'glam.'

Personal photos. I took this beach house photo on Captiva Island. I love framing photos that I have taken & hold a special meaning--this is what I envision my {one-day} beach cottage to look like. 😀

My llama basket. I had this in my old bathroom but moved it in the revamp. It is actually a fruit basket from PierOne {out of sock} but I use it to hold hand towels & washrags! Here is a woven llama basket dupe for mine from Target.

My medicine/makeup cabinet. I have had this forever sitting in a really stupid place in my room {lol} but I had my dad swap out the wood mirror for this--it's romanticly chic & holds my eyeglasses & face serums. 💛

This bath mat is actually iridescent! Basically, #mermaidgoals 🐟

Also, little details such as succulents & this hanging succulent really add Nature meets Namaste vibe that I was going for. I shopped around for new bathroom decor, but Target's OpalHouse is a great go-to to shop BOHO yet homey home staples!
