"On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was..." "It's October 3rd," said Cady from the iconic movie, Mean Girls.
& ever since, October 3rd has been officially/unofficially 'Mean Girls Day.' I can remember seeing the movie with my mom--I was 13 or 14 years old & being like pretty embarrassed! However, going back to re-watch it {on Netflix} it's not so 'shocking' as some of the content out today.

Mean Girls Foot Cardigan 'Burn Book' Socks {c/o} |
Regardless, Mean Girls will forever be quoted & even though it's from the early 2000s' it will remain pretty timeless. Hey, most of the clothes Regina & her squad wear in the film is in style {again} right now.
So, in the spirit of October 3rd, I wanted to put together a Mean Girls inspired post--see my socks? Each one has a Mean Girl theme--there's 'fetch' ones' a drawn map of the lunchroom pair, & 'burn book' inspired socks. They're from a company called Foot Cardigan--cute right?

Anywho, here are like some of my favorite quotes from the movie:
- "It's so fetch"-Gretchen. {"It's like slang. From England."}
- "Get in loser, we're going shopping."-Regina.
- "That's why her hair is so big. It's full of secrets."-Damian.
- "She doesn't even go here!"-Damien.
- "I don't think my father, the inventor of the toaster strudel, would be too pleased to hear about this." -Gretchen
- "I have this theory, if you cut off all her hair, she'll look like a British man." -Cady.
- "Whatever, I'm getting cheese fries." -Regina.
- "Stop trying to make "fetch" happen, Gretchen."-Regina.
- "I'm sorry that people are so jealous of me. But I can't help that I'm popular."-Gretchen.
- "On Wednesdays we wear pink."-Karen.
