Coffee Talk: Chic Business Cards

Can we {coffee} talk for a minute? Yes? Okay. Great! Rember the Sex & The City episode where Carrie is in the cab & the guy next to her asks for a pen? She replies, "Oh, I'm a writer without a pen" or something to that nature...well, that's me... only replace a pen {although guilty there too} with professional business cards & yep, I am Carrie.

Actually, I had professional business cards made about 4-5 years ago right when I started blogging & began working as a writer--as any young professional does.

Sadly, they quickly became outdated as I bought my blog's domain name & then just stopped using the cards. Since then, I've been wanting to get new {chic} business cards made.

*Please note, this blog post is sponsored by Basic Invite. All opinions & thoughts are my own.*

Today is my lucky day as I finally have my new, updated, & stylish business cards printed & ready to share. These professional business cards were made on Basic Invite's website & I was super impressed by how fast they came.

I designed/ordered them on a {late} Sunday night & by that Friday that came via mail.

"Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online"-Basic Invite.

" Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail. This is what we feel sets us apart from almost any other online stationery company and is what we feel is our biggest draw."

My inspiration for my business cards were the Pantone color samples--I was actually really surprised that they had the same colors to add to my design that I have featured in my blog's aesthetic--aside from the super quick delivery, the variety of custom-color options was my favorite part about using Basic Invite to print my cards.

I selected the standard smooth-coated paper--it's nice & thick, but if you want a 'foil effect' the options are pretty swanky

Foil Options:

  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Rose Gold {love!}
  • Customers can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs

Here's What is on My Card:

  • Working Title
  • Instagram Handle
  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Email
  • Blog Address
However, you can have your cards say whatever you like.

& It's never too early to start thinking about your holiday/Christmas cards as Basic Invite does more than just business cards, but party invitations as well as holiday cards.

For the month of September, I've teamed up with Basic Invite to offer my readers 15% off their business card & other custom printed orders. Use Code: 15FF51 at the checkout!

  1. I was just telling my Husband that I'm the worst Blogger ever because I never have business cards. Mine are 4 years outdated too...glad to hear I'm not the only one! And yours are so cute :)
