Sweet Swimmies: Swimsuits You Can Actually Swim In

I don't know about you, but swimming is probably my favorite summertime activity. I really wish I had my own {private pool} but we attend a public one. Luckily, it's pretty big {an olympic size} so you get your own space & adult swim happens every 1/2 hour.

Aside from reading by the pool, on a typical pool-day I swim anywhere from 20-50 laps--so, it's always important to me to have a stylish swimsuit, but one that I can actually swim in.

Therefore, finding a swim-style that's comfortable meets functional meets on-trend is the inspiration for this post today. I have rounded-up my favorite one-pieces here in one spot.

Gingham One-Piece {scoop sides}

This season, I really love this navy & white Gap stripe swimmie along with the selection that J. Crew has. Also, Old Navy has a really cute {on the modest side} gingham one-piece too. Last year, I had a ruffle off-the-shoulder top {simlar} & just pushed the sleeves up to my shoulders when I swam.
