Just In-Time For Spring: Shelf Styling

March...it's a weird month. We're happy that we've made it through the cold & snow past month as excitement for warmer weather builds each day. However, March can go either way. One day the sun is out & the next is blustery with another Northeaster headed our way!

The best way to prep for the spring days ahead is to get your home {indoors} tidy &  rejuvenated.  I have been doing this the past few months--spring fever catches me {strongly} right about now. This way, when the weather breaks, I'll have more time for outdoors things & have peace of mind that how I want my interiors are well, the way I want them.

I switched up the palm print paper in my bathroom shelving this year to another palm print but with a pink background. This is pretty simple as it's only sturdy gift wrap {from TJ Maxx}.

After I put the new paper up & dust it's all about styling & organizing the shelves to look the way I want.

I think with shelves {like a bookcase or any built-in shelf} it's fun to go with quirky fixtures & decorations...for instance, the Dalmatian print {one of my favorites} oddly plays well with the palm print.

It took about 1 & 1/2 rolls of wrapping paper to do 4 shelves

I always find fun prints & mugs at Hobby Lobby. I switch out the art throughout the seasons & style them together {&apart}. Mostly  I find/shop the clearance isles {the pink mug was only $4}

Lastly, I would recommend investing in something nice to store your regularly used makeup in. I recently invested in a few of the lucite makeup containers & not only does it store everything {nice & tidy} BUT it acts as decor too.
