Planning a Dog Birthday Celebration!

***

If you're familiar with my Instagram page & The Yellow Spectacles you already know two things;

1. I love my dogs {Riley & Bentley}
2. I love planning birthday celebrations

So, this Saturday, August 8th little Riley is turning 2!

To celebrate, I have composed a how-to plan a dog paw-ty post!

Take inspiration from my pictures & feel free to recreate the felt "Birthday Boy" party hat I made for each dog to wear. You can download a template HERE & trace onto felt. Assemble with hot glue & be creative when embellishing the hat.

Shopping for fun doggie toys is easy & the Martha Stewart for Petsmart dog "Kiss Me, It's My Birthday Tee" just makes the occasion extra festive...don't you think?
When planning a party for your pup-remember, the treats! Grocery stores often sell dog friendly ice-cream, but a plain vanilla treat or something made from peanut butter is good too--just NO chocolate.

Happy Birthday to all dogs born in August & Happy Birthday Riley!

  1. Love all of the products you included in the bottom, and thank you for including the "no chocolate" rule! Many people tend to forget about that one!
