It may come to no surprise that I like to make my own gift tags. After all, they're pretty easy to make {even with bits of leftover scrap paper} & they add a bit of personal flair to any gift {store bought or handmade}.
For Christmas, if you have a larger family opening presents all morning {or a small one} one way I like to make it more fun {yes, that's possible} is to write funny holiday-themed jokes & one-liners on the back of the handmade tag!
It's cute & fun to hear the joke{s} read aloud when the recipient is reading the tag & who it is from.
Here are my tags this year & some humor to get you inspired to make yours...
Basically, I used leftover scrapbook paper & cut into a square. With a bit of glue & glitter glue, I made a 2D/3D tree on the card's front & wrote my 'joke' on the gift tag's back.
Jokes like, ''What do you call a Santa Claus living at the South Pole?'' 'A lost Claus' {haha} & ''What's the difference between snowmen & snowwomen?'' 'Um, snowballs...{😂}'
I have a few more examples in the photos below, but also funny/cute sayings from Chrismas carols & movies also works well on the backs of the gift tags too. 💚
'What kind of ball does a snowman attend?' ''A Snowball!'' |
Peep, Blaire The Elf on the Shelf 💋 |
'What do you call a Christmas frog hanging from the ceiling?' ''Mistle-Toad!'' |
Happy Wrapping!💚 If you like the images you see Pin with me! On Pinterest! |
