Fall is my Favorite Hue: How to Wear Resort Wear 365 days a Year

It's autumn, duh! While everyone enjoys wearing their boots, quilted jackets, beanies, & blanket scarfs I can't help but to silently wish for the days of summer when my clothing was cool, lightweight, & oh so colorful.

While fall is a tricky time of year to dress {is it hot or cold out?} it is possible to carry over your resort clothing {Cabana Life, Lilly Pulitzer, bright colors, & fun prints} into fall.

I have paired their navy jogger pants {they have gold zippers on the side of the legs} along with their scallop {coral} orange rashguard--both items are super lightweight but still warm. For a bit of extra padding, I have paired my Lilly Pulitzer puffer vest--the inside brings out the scallop hue of the top!

Depending on the light, the top takes a color of its own--it can either be very orange or pale coral pink in softer lightening....                    💙       💛        💙

Probably, my favorite part about the whole look is the scallop detail along the sleeves and hem of the shirt--it's delicate & adds a bit of femme flair to the whole outfit.
