In the spirit of Halloween--if ghouls, goblins, & ghosts aren't your thing perhaps, you'll love this feminine pumpkin DIY--Faux pearl pumpkin.
It's a pretty easy craft that can be finished within one crafty afternoon.
Basically, if you love white pumpkins, pink, & pearls you need to make this ASAP!
Here's what you'll need:
- faux white pumpkin {mine is from Target}
-Tacky or hot glue
-about two strands of pearls {one small & one big}
-Pink Paint
-Glitter {optional}
Steps:
-Wipe & dry pumpkin to prep for paint
-Take your paint {color is up to you, but pink compliments pearls}
-Lightly coat the top half of pumpkin in paint--going for a 'drip' effect
-While paint drys, feel free to sprinkle a dust of glitter--I used Martha Stewart Craft Glitter
-After the paint is dry, adhere your pearls--mixing small size with larger size so it looks like they are 'falling down' the pumpkin
-That's it!
For the pearls, I bought two strands at Joann's for a $1 a piece & the paint is actually from Target about $1.99
Happy Halloween!
This is SUCH a great idea! I've seen the spike pumpkins at Target, but those aren't really my thing. this however, totally is! Happy Halloween!
