American Style: A Few Favorite American-Style Bloggers

I think a lot of fashion-lovers & fashion bloggers can relate at some point or another that we've wanted to emulate that 'Chic-Parisian-French Girl Style.' Oui? While I love a good beret, nautical stripes & a silk ascot as the next influencer there's something to be said for the 'Cool-American-Girl Style' too. Yes?

With it being Memorial Day/Memorial Day weekend; I wanted to share a few of my favorite bloggers who I think emulates the Chic-American-Girl-Next-Door-Style that we all love--especially during the summer months.

• Lauren/Daily Dose of Charm: Lauren's photos, style, & blog flows with fun & youthful fashions--when I think about 'the girl-next-door' charm; I think of Lauren & Daily Dose of Charm. 

Woven Bag/True Tropics/ {c/o}

• Sarah/Hello Darling: Sarah's Instagram makes me want to move to the South & become a true Southern Belle. Her style is playful yet classic {a mixture of gingham & stripes} & in combination with photos of her darling pup, Duke is what American summers are made of.  

• Abby/Belle of the Ball: Abby's aesthetic is the perfect blend of classic American prep with a modern twist. Have you seen her Kentucky Derby-inspired post? It doesn't get any more Americana than that!  

Retro White Sunnies

• Sarah/Classy Girls Wear Pearls: Modern day Jackie-O. Need I say more? 

• Shannon/Prep Avenue: I always admire Shannon's pink & blue aesthetic--her flair for stripes, straw hats, & hydrangeas is a blogger's delight! 

• Lucy Cuneo: I have had the pleasure of interviewing Lucy for a few Martha Stewart articles & I love her whimsy yet feminine wardrobe--it's like that effortless artsy beautiful style that we all try really hard to capture, but she makes it look well, effortless!  

• Julia/Gal Meets Glam: At this point, who doesn't pin every look Julia posts? Aside from her {out of the ballpark} dress collection; her modern take on styles that reminisce of mod-1950s vibes {love her oval sunnies & silk hair scarves} are truly an American dream!
