What will it be? ACK or HAMPS?

If you know me then you already know I have a love for prints--especially uniquely illustrated designs. Luckily, I have been able to feature a handful of talented artists & illustrators here on my blog--but wait till you see today's feature!

Before I say who, I have a question for you--Nantucket or The Hamptons? Personally, I've never been to either--but it's on my list. This Austugt, I'll be visiting Nantucket {for the first time!} & as for The Hamptons, every time I watch my favorite Nancy Meyers' film Something's Gotta Give I go to The Hamptons {lol}. 🚤

Meet Nantucket v. Hamptons. Also known as Ack v. Hamps. Ack v. Hamps cleverly pairs scenes, locations, experiences, & lifestyles of Nantucket & The Hamptons against one another in a series of watercolor prints. Think, New England Clam Chowder vs. Manhattan Clam Chowder. Kind of like that!

Each unique print has a limited run--truly, every illustration is a one-of-a-kind piece of art to add to your collection/gallery wall.

The company is run by Mr. NVH & Mallie. Together, they are graduates of the Harvard School of Design & of course, are from New Englan & New York.

The two prints featured here in this post are from the Nantucket {ACK} series {by-the-way,  the yellow bike print resembles Tink, my yellow cruiser!}

If this is your first time seeing their artwork know that they have been featured in Town & Country as well as well-known preppy bloggers have spotted carrying their illustrated tote bags.

p.s. they have gold/silver foil stickers too! I am saving mine for my ACK trip!

So, which is it? ACK or The Hamptons? Follow them on Instagram @ackvhamps & look for the #ackvhamps ⛱

  4. This one design looks really perfect and I hope that if having it as assignment to children in schools, they will be able to learn crafting art designs in better way.
