R & R Ft. My Pink & Green Garden

Truthfully, I really never take a ''lazy day.'' Often, {always} I feel a slight twinge of guilt when I sit down to literally do nothing.  I feel like I should be always doing something productive, but I have come to realize that sometimes you have to do nothing in order to do something productive.

Truly, taking a moment, a few hours, day, and /or a weekend to recharge your creative energy can be so beneficial to your long-term growth & success. I don't know about you, but sometimes I need a few tips or ideas to stop, unwind, & just relax. Here's what works for me. & Let me know what works for you below!

& If you are wondering about the {adorable} monogram pillow here it is from My Pink & Green Garden which if you're holiday shopping it's the destination gift shopping site!

Reading a book/magazine

I like to read mostly non-fiction, home decorating related magazines, & yes, the Eloise books, LOL

Watching a favorite movie

Basically, any movie was written/directed by Nancy Meyers is my fave

Taking a nap

I have a slight obsession with faux fur rugs, pillows, blankets, you name it...

In a nutshell, sometimes to do some you have to do nothing.

  7. I'm the same way, girlie! I almost need permission to stop and rest, if not, I just feel so guilty about it. When I do, I love to do all of the things you've suggested here, which help to clear my mind of all the to-dos and really focus in on the present. Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have the best weekend ahead!
